he 168th regiment has a send off ceremony on 5/28 at 4 pm at the new armory in West Des Moines. The USO will have a table handing out flags/glow sticks to friends, family and people in the community to send off the troops/ and snack/activity bags for the troops to take with them on their trip. Volunteers will help setup/tear down the USO table as well as hand out the items and then help send off the troops in style!
